Population Pyramids 8/31/17
The population of Denair seems to be slowly declining if not, fairly stable. It will in all likelihood ,continue to decline slowly.
The Turlock population seems rather stable. Unless unforeseen changes occur, Turlock's population should remain stable.
San Diego's population is hard to make a solid determination due to all the college students. But it looks to be expanding slowly/ stable.
San Jose's population looks to be expanding rapidly. Its location and weather may be a factor in why the population continues to grow.
The population distribution of Chico is quite funny. It looks to be mostly stable, but I infer that many college kids are the cause for its big difference in population numbers from age group to age group.
The Anaheim population appears to be expanding rapidly. The number of elderly to children under 5 years of age is quite a big gap. Disneyland may be one cause for the expanding population.
Data Snapshots 9/15/17
This is the drought outlook of the United States in September of 2016. Almost every part of California was in drought that was continuing or worsening. It is interesting because I was right in the middle of all of it, I saw its effects on our area.
This is the precipitation outlook of the United States for the month of September of 2017. The east coast is expected to e much wetter than usual, I think it is attributed to the recent hurricanes that have brought tons of water already. Thankfully, California is not predicted to be dryer than usual. It shows the improvement of our drought.
This is the predicted temperature outlook for September of 2017. This whole year has been one of the hottest on record. Just a week ago there was a week of 100+ degree temperatures. This interests me because it makes me think of how the falling years will be and if temperatures will be even higher.
This is the amount of precipitation for august of 2017. This is interesting because it shows the amount of precipitation from hurricane Harvey. it was a record breaking storm that caused great destruction.
This is amount of precipitation of January in 2000. It is interesting too see the amount of rain 17 years ago compared to now. California definitely was not in a drought at this time. The central valley actually got a decent amount of rain water.
